Arm virtual hardware officially launched Baidu intelligent cloud！

Arm announced on August 17 that Arm Virtual Hardware (Arm® Virtual Hardware) was officially launched on Baidu Intelligent Cloud, aiming to help more local developers, simplify and accelerate the software development of intelligent and secure iot and embedded devices, and promote technological innovation and application within the iot ecosystem. Connecting Arm virtual hardware to Baidu Intelligent Cloud not only extends the service to local individual developers through the cloud platform, but also brings the efficient performance of Arm virtual hardware running ARM-based cloud servers for the first time.

As a leader in China's AI public cloud market, Baidu Intelligent Cloud has a wide range of application areas and a strong user base. Last year, Baidu Intelligent Cloud officially released the BCC example product Gr1 equipped with Ampere® Altra® cloud-native processor based on Arm architecture, using single-core single-thread design, each core constant frequency 3.0 GHz, can achieve stable performance, with more superior security and energy consumption advantages. The online Baidu intelligent cloud Arm virtual hardware image service is based on this server. Using ARM-based cloud instances to simulate ARM-based devices commonly deployed in edge intelligence, iot and embedded applications is expected to more effectively assist developers and operators in software development and iteration.
